Romania Impact Trip for Young Adults

Opportunity Overview

Romania Impact Trip:  June 18-June 27.

Who is this trip for: This is a trip that is for the young adults (The Table) of Cornwall Church

Trip Purpose: Our focus on this trip is to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ as we partner with Betania Church in Sighisoara and the amazing work that God is doing through them. More specifically we will share Christ with the younger Romanian and Roma (Gypsy) generation in a variety of ways. This is going to be an incredible trip and an amazing experience.

Background:  Betania Church has committed to invest 20% of the church’s budget into missions, reaching out to the poverty-stricken in rural areas, where there were no evangelical churches.  Today, under the leadership of Florin and Sabin Boruga, Betania Church has church plants in 6 villages around Sighisoara.  These village churches minister to poverty-stricken Roma communities, that are socially excluded, suffering from extreme deprivations and hopelessness.
